Material data

Just as with metals, there are applications for which engineering plastics materials are better or less suited. Materials that are especially suited for sliding applications, as well as materials that can handle high temperatures. There are also materials available that fulfill a combination of requirements, or some that are even universally applicable. One can choose between many engineering plastics with various properties. There will be different groups of properties. Go los

References for the "Physical Material Guiding Values" tables

The details in the list give a survey of the properties of our products and will enable the rapid comparison of different materials. They reflect our current knowledge and do not claim to be complete. Due to the pronounced dependency on ambient conditions and processing, the listed values must only be regarded as guiding values. They do not represent a legally binding assurance regarding the properties of our products or their suitability for application in individual concrete applications. All the listed values are average values obtained from a multitude of individual measurements, and are related to a temperature of 23°C and 50% r.h.! For specific application suitability, we recommend testing by running trials.
