Actual situation for POM
Over the past several weeks there has been a dramatic development in the supply of raw material for POM. This development is characterised by significant shortages of raw material due to a variety of raisons announced by the raw material producers. Therefore we would like to inform you at this moment in time that as consequence this has and will affect the availability of semi-finished products in POM for the next few months.
In detail we may be forced to:
1. delay orders which have already been confirmed - you will automatically receive a revised order confirmation or we will contact you directly by phone or e-mail.
2. confirm new orders with delivery times longer than ever seen before (such as 10 - 12 weeks or even longer)
3. quote delivery times subject to possible changes at the time of receipt of order.
We regret to inform you about this uncertainty in the market, but we regard it as essential to communicate to you for your planning. Please be assured that we will do our very best to keep the supply service and the availablity of POM at an acceptable level. We will also keep you informed about further developments in this subject.
OILAMID® green Oil filled Cast Nylon
- Reacting to our customers request for Green oil filled nylon, we have answered them by saying YES!
- Green Oilamid® rods up to Ø 710 mm and sheets up to a thickness of 160 mm (larger sizes on request) are now mostly available ex stock.
- We also continue to stock Oilamid® in natural, black and yellow.
Lubramid® 600 T The latest self-lubricating material from Licharz
Lubramid® 600T is a cast nylon with special additives and solid lubricants. With the focus on sliding properties, the solid lubricants which are integrated in the material gives exceptionally low coefficient of friction.
Lubramid®600T is available in grey, natural, green and red.
