The component parts that we produce using engineering plastics are having to meet increasingly tough demands. But Licharz is rising to this challenge. In today's newsletter, you can find out about the wide range of production methods we can offer with our machine pool. We continuously optimize our internal processes so that you, our customers, can benefit from excellent reliability. One great example of this is the way we are improving our internal material flow with the opening of a new central storage facility in Building 10. Just as important to us as cutting-edge technical capabilities are dedicated staff. One of those is Selina Wildemann, our first commercial apprentice. Find out more about her in this newsletter.

The right production method for every component part
Our engineering plastics are high-performance engineering materials for highly loaded machine parts. The components that we produce for our customers are becoming ever more complex. Our modern machinery pool features CNC milling machines for working ranges up to 3,000 x 1,000 mm, as well as the option of simultaneous 5-axis milling. It also offers the latest measuring processes, full CAD/CAM integration and optional thermal pre- and intermediate treatment for components of all sizes and complexities.
Hall 10 – New central logistics building improves material flow
The opening of Building 10 at our headquarters in Buchholz/Westerwald will improve logistics in production. Customers will also benefit from this investment. "Structured work increases both productivity and product quality,”explains Andreas Kotara, Director of Logistics & Materials Management. Find out how the new hall is helping us put lean principles into practice.
Licharz expands vocational training with commercial apprenticeships
Selina Wildemann is our very first commercial apprentice. She has been part of our team since August 2016 and has already gotten to know several departments. "The young people that go through our apprenticeships later go on to become excellent employees, which benefits both them and us," says her trainer Thomas Köllgen. "That inspired us to add the commercial apprenticeship to our apprenticeship programs here at Licharz."
